I.    Phygelus and Hermogenes:  Fear Drives Out Faith (1:15)
II.   Onesiphorus and Timothy:  Faith Drives Out Fear (1:16-2:1)
III.  Faithful Men and Others:  Live and Leave a Legacy of Faith (2:2)
          The other two sons are still in the harvest.
          We can give our children a lot of things. Give the Jesus!

I.   Be humble (5-9)
          A.  Humility is a act of submission (5-7)
                    All believers should submit to one another and to God!
          B.  Humility is an act of sobriety (8-9a)
                    Anytime pride is in our heart, it gives the devil and opportunity to devour!
                         1.  Respect the devil
                         2.  Recognize the devil
                         3.  Resist the devil
                    What if Peter had obeyed these three instructions during the crucifixion?
II.  Be hopeful (9b-11)

Stand firm in the True Grace of God!

Why is my YES so critical?

"My heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation"

Four Necessary Conditions:
"Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

I.    They Must Believe in Jesus (10:14)
II.   They Must Hear the Gospel (10:14)
          What is The Gospel?
III.  They Must have a Preacher to Preach (10:14)
          Who are the preachers?
IV.  Someone Must be Sent (10:15)
          Who is being sent?
